The patent abstract indicates that the on-board camera housing shell, as a core component of automotive intelligent driving systems, must meet stringent requirements including high-precision assembly, high heat dissipation capacity, environmental corrosion resistance (such as salt spray), and laser welding reliability. Patent CN115958292A previously disclosed a process for laser welding metal on-board camera housing shells, which completed the housing production process through laser welding. With technological advancement, cold extrusion technology has become a better option. The cold extrusion process and optimization method for new energy vehicle on-board camera housing shells provided by this application addresses the problem of internal defects caused by uneven metal flow through a gradient pressure cold extrusion process combined with customized mold design, and simultaneously optimizes the connection of surface treatment processes. It is compatible with thread structure requirements of low yield strength materials and has the advantages of improving shell forming quality, enhancing the flatness accuracy of the clamping surface, optimizing the connection of surface treatment processes, and adapting to the thread structure requirements of low yield strength materials.
